i been quiet, i knows it. had a lot on. ten days ago or so the council started relaying the surface of dalkeith road, right outside my house. for "safety reasons" they did it between the hours of 8pm and 6am. i got two hours sleep two nights running, and i can tell you i was a joy to be around.

started again monday night, which had me absolutely fuming, but on tuesday i wouldn't have been sleeping anyway cos i was too busy throwing up every 30 minutes through the night. there's an indian restaurant on drummond street that i won't be going back to...

it really took it out of me, and i only started eating properly again at the weekend (poor me) so i haven't been at work since the start of the week. back tomorrow though. and because i only take copies of email at home, and don't delete them from the server until i'm at work, there will probably be about 500 sitting waiting for me, of which about 450 will be crap. whoopee.

going on holiday soon. i hope.

parliament having swallowed the camel of including unmarried partners within the protection given to married couples it is not for the Court to strain at the gnat of including such partners who are of the same sex as each other.
